Answer the questions.
1. What steps did you take to make your product, from beginning to end?
I took 2 days for made gate miniature. I use Styrofoam, Styrofoam board, tape as much as needed, adhesives, wood chopstick and paper clip as much as needed.
First, I cut the Styrofoam for ground.
Second, I post the wood chopstick for gate post. I post pair of chopstick because I think a side of chopstick is week to gold the gate.
Third, I made the small gate. I cut Styrofoam board two same shape, and made a small square each Styrofoam board for check who’s outside of gate. I cut Styrofoam for between two Styrofoam boards. I need to attach the Styrofoam and Styrofoam board with adhesives but I saw adhesives melt the Styrofoam when Yeajun attach gate post and Styrofoam ground. So I use tape when I made gate. And attach the Styrofoam small gate with post use tape.
Firth, I made lock for small gate with paper clips.
These are what I did in 1 day.
In 2 day
First, I made big gate. I cut Styrofoam board four same shape, and mad a small hole each for string. In my plan I planned each gates have Styrofoam between two Styrofoam boards. But cutting Styrofoam same thick size is hard so I cover inside of gate with Styrofoam boards. And attached all stuff together with tape. And throw the strings each gates.
Second, I made two rings for each string of gate with paper clip and attach it top of the post with using adhesives.
Third, attach the gate with post with tape and connect the strings to rings.
Fourth, made lock for big gate with paper clips. I made lock bigger than small gate lock.
2. What went well?
All 3 piece of gate are went well and strings and rings are also went well
3. What went wrong and how did you fix?
When big lock attach to big gate, I use adhesive a lot so part of gate melt and it looks like I push the gate with thumb. So I attached little piece of Styrofoam board.
4. If you had it to do over again, what would you do?
I will do all same but I will use other adhesive.
